Mixologist- Making your own Lip color

Finding the right shade of lipstick can be hard, especially when you have a limited collection or tons to choose from. In order to find that perfect shade turn into a mixologist and shake, stir, blend your way to that perfect color!

I wanted a golden color without all the shimmer so using MAC Cork Lip Pencil as a base and Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars I blended two of their colors together and created a great shade of golden brown..

    I love doing this and lip tars are such a perfect medium to do it with.

    I think it’s about time to pick up the primary mixing shades from OOC at IMATS this year. I like the ones I have, but more are always good.. LOL

    The primary colors are the best. With knowledge of color theory the possibilities are endless!
