MAC Cosmetics Grey Friday Isn’t at All What it Seems!

It’s here!!!!! I will admit I went back and forth on if I would buy this lipstick or not ,and well as you can see I did. I know, I know, what use do I have with a Grey lipstick? Honestly none, which is exactly why I bought it. I guess you can say I am a MAC Lipstick Collector, and yes that is a legit hobby! Grey Friday is going to join the likes of Yung Rapunxel, Candy Yum Yum, and Black Knight.. all of whom I had to have, but alas don’t ever wear.

Grey Friday is  described by MAC as a blackish grey with silver shimmer. This lipstick is actually a frost that surprisingly takes on a purple bluish iridescent shade rather then a true gray as we all assumed. One look at the lipstick in tube and I could see how one would be intimidated and probably want nothing to do with it, but honestly this is a pretty strong case in how looks can be deceiving  What I really like about Grey Friday is that instead of being this strong silver frosted lipstick it is instead very wear friendly and it is very blend-able with whatever lip liner you choose to wear. Below I show you pictures of the lipstick with and without a lip liner. My lip liner of choice was MAC’s Night Moth. After applying Grey Friday, lining my lips, and then pursing them together the lipstick took on a whole knew life. I’m excited to see how it looks paired with other lip liners. I’m sure it would look amazing paired with a blue toned lip liner! This lipstick went on so well that honestly I think it will get lot’s of wear.
