Power Brows! A Spring Trend or Here to Stay?

Keira-Knightley-power brows

Growing up I was always told that I had nice eyebrows, once high school started there then became this phase of shaving my eyebrows into a thin line with those pastel colored beauty supply store razors. Needless to say my brows were never even and most of the times always looked a hot mess. Once I entered college I learned the coveted art of “plucking”. Now armed with an array of tweezers I keep my  eyebrows nicely sculpted, but not too thin. This year on the Runway we saw the re emergence of thick bushy over powering eyebrows, now dubbed “Power Brows”.  At first I thought it was something just for Fashion Week, after further research (beauty magazines) I see that this is a true trend and it’s seriously fighting it’s way for a place in our everyday Beauty Regimens.

I asked the question on my Facebook Fan page and Instagram to find out if people were loving it or leaving it. Of course several people wanted to leave it, but I wonder if this is because we’ve become brainwashed into thinking sculpted, concealer lined eyebrows is the way to go.

I am personally not a fan, even if I was it would be really hard for me to pull it off unless I drew A LOT in since my brows are very thin!
