Milani Cosmetics Naturals and Browns ColorStatement Lipsticks

Milani ColorStatement Lipsticks Natural and Brown Have you been looking for an affordable lipstick collection that’s office friendly and women of color friendly? We’ll meet the Milani ColorStatement Lipsticks in Naturals and Browns. The Naturals and Browns are every women’s dream, I mean I’ve said this before but there is seriously a color for everyone! I was surprised to see that even the lightest shades are workable with a little lip lining and glossing. Like the other collections (Reds and Oranges) (Pinks and Corals), the Naturals and Browns comes in an array of finishes however this is the only set that does not contain a Matte Shade. These shades can be found (hopefully) in your local CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart and Kmart. They retail for $5.49 each.

Naturally Chic (Cream)

This is the lightest shade of the bunch. It’s definitely workable though when paired with a lip pencil that is of similar color or slightly darker. This lipstick kind of goes on uneven so beware.

Nude Creme (Cream)

Nude Cream is the same same color as my lips. This is a true natural toned lipstick.

Dulce Carmelo (Pearl)

Dulce Caramelo is a natural toned sheer lipstick. The pearl finish isn’t too overwhelming. It looks sorta like a nice gloss on your lips.

Teddy Bare (Cream)

Teddy Bare is another natural toned lipstick. It’s a bit more brown than Nude Cream but it’s a great lipstick to wear if you don’t want to look like you’re wearing lipstick.

Candied Toffees (Metallic)

Candied Toffees brings us to the Brown Family. This shade has red undertones and a golden pearl finish.  Milani Color Statement Lipstick Candied Toffees

Bronze Beauty  (Shimmer)

Bronze Beauty is another shimmery brown. You can see the orange golden flecks throughout the lipstick. This one is a bit more reddish orange than brown.

D’Oro (Metallic)

D’oro is a golden reddish brown. Seeing this lipstick made me think of the days when we thought gold lipstick lined with black lipliner was cute.. glad I grew out of that phase! Milani ColorStatement Lipsticks D'oro

Chocolate Berries  Cream

Chocolate Berries is a gorgeous deep brown with a slight hint of plum. If you’re looking for that darker shade this is definitely it!

Double Espresso  (Pearl)

Double Espresso is a mix between brown and gold to create the perfect mix. This again is another great dark shade for those who are a darker skin tone.
