My Secret Weapon for Staying Fresh on the Go!

There’s a heat wave going on, and let’s be honest, when you’re a city girl like me you can’t help but venture out into the sweltering sun to walk to your next destination. So ladies, let’s be honest, with all the heat and humidity do you ever stop and wonder if you’re still “fresh”? Yeah you can do a quick pit check while no one is noticing, then run to the bathroom and freshen up, but what about taking care of the rest of your body?  I have a secret supply of fresheners that I keep tucked away in my makeup bag, book bag gym bag, and several purses for those freshen up moments. I keep this product handy so that it’s always at my disposal when I want to make sure I’m at my freshest.

Summer’s Eve cleansing cloths are my secret pick-me-up for when I’m on the go. They are the perfect way to freshen up during your monthly curse, after your workout, on hot days like we’re having now, or *whispers* when you’ve just bagged a cute guy and you want to make sure you’re ready just in case! No needs to worry about irritation. They have gentle formulas, are alcohol-free, hypoallergenic, and are designed to wipe away odor. Trust me, these are a life saver if you can’t go straight home and shower after the gym, which is usually my story. Once I finish a spin class or a hard workout, I’m either running to the grocery store to pick up food for dinner or trying to fit in some other quick errands. I mean, people expect you to smell after a workout, but you can at least keep it to a minimum right?

Face it, we have tons of beauty products in our bathroom, but how many are made specifically for the vaginal area? I’ve been a Summer’s Eve user for a long time, so I was happy to try out their new popular scent, Island Splash in the Cleansing Wash and Cleansing Cloths.  All the Summer’s Eve Cleansing Washes are pH- balanced and gentle enough for sensitive skin so it’s safe to use every single day! I’ve only ever used the Simply Sensitive or Delicate Blossom scent, so it was great to try out a brand new fragrance without the worry of irritation. The cleansing wash even helps cleanse away odor-causing bacteria, helping you to stay fresher longer. I keep the Summer’s Eve Cleansing wash in my shower and use it daily. The tropical Island Splash was a welcome change and the smell wasn’t overbearing at all. I usually don’t like tropical scents, but I really enjoyed this one. Summer’s Eve is a great product for all women on the go.

I keep a pack of facial cleansing wipes in the car. They are great for cleaning your face but can also be used anywhere on your body that might need a little refreshing.

I’ve got this great body mister that has a nice refreshing fresh scent that I can spray over all my skin. It refreshes me, and adds a great fragrance without being overpowering.

Shower daily, wear perfume, keep my face moisturized, brush my teeth twice a day and keep mints to use at work so my breath stays fresh.

I have to blot my shiny skin with paper towel at some point during the day usually. I also freshen up with some body spray sometimes.

I make sure to shower everyday, do my hair, use moisturizer and of course deodorant. If I need to freshen up I’ll either splash my face with water or use a facial wipe.

It’s easy to stay fresh when you are home, but as a backpacker, and need to carry light, I’ll wipe up with a dryer sheet to help smell fresh.

I carry a small travel size antiperspirant and toothbrush and toothpaste in my purse so I can freshen up after lunch. I also carry baby wipes in my car and breath spray in the glovebox.

I carry some powder and deodorant in my purse to stay feeling fresh all day. The Summer’s Eve sounds like a wonderful product to try too.
