Military Inspired Vince Camuto Winchell Boots

Last year I purchased my first pair of boots and handbag from Vince Camuto. I’ve been making sure to keep up with the brand ever since and it was love at first sight when I laid eyes on the Winchell Boots. I love the military inspired look with the gold plate on the heel and the gold and black buckle. These boots are perfect for day and night and can pair well with a cute skirt, leggings or even your favorite pair of skinny jeans.  Pair this with a large bag like the Brahmin Large Duxbury satchel and the Cara pin on any structured black jacket and you have a complete look! The Winchell boots by Vince Camuto retail for $189-169 depending on the retailer and if there is a sale. Military Inspired Outfit

I bought the Vince Camuto Winchell Boots in Black last year in my regular size 7 on the internet as they were sold out everywhere I looked. I was so happy when I got them and took them with me to wear that weekend on a trip we often take to Charleston S.C. What a mistake! They initially felt comfortable but the more I walked around, I soon discovered the seem that runs across the middle of the toe box was too tight. They were put away in my huge shoe/boot closet(s) and forgotten. This Fall I took a chance and bought a shoe stretcher and leather stretch spray. In no time I was wearing these awesome boots and getting comments and questions from total strangers.
With the many brands of shoes/boots I own, including Steve Madden, L.A.M.B., Jimmy Choo, Jessica Simpson, White House Black Market, BCBG, etc., I have found they all run differently. I have shoes in size 6.5-8. Bottom line, the Vince Camuto’s run slender.
