My new hair: I’m Officially a Blonde Bombshell!

Blonde hair on Black Women After months of talking about it I finally did it. I went Blonde, and what a glorious thing it is!!  If you follow me on all my social media outlets (as you should be doing), you would know that I’ve been dying (no pun intended) to go blonde for months now. I’ve seen blonde hair on some of my favorite celebs such as Nene Leakes (yes I love myself some Nene), Chrisette Michele, Keri Hilson, Mary J Blige, and Amber Rose, but I was always too scared to take the plunge.

Friday I went to my favorite hair spot, Hair Cuttery and I had my stylist Whitney take me all the way blonde. We decided to go with a Honey Blonde rather then platinum because I have a lot of golden and yellow undertones in my skin. We took the top a little lighter than my sides until they grow out a bit more since we will be retouching that before the top. Once I got home I lightened my brows to match and filled them in with a mixture of Spiked and Strut eyebrow pencils from MAC. So now the big question on my mind is “Do Blonde’s really have more fun?”
