Stila Countless Color Pigments are a Work of Art x Indie

Check out one of the newest additions to the Stila Cosmetics Family. The Stila Countless Color Pigments! You may be saying to yourself “Geez we’ve seen these before.”, Truth is you have, MAC Cosmetics has put out several mineralized eyeshadows that look just like these. However, here’s the catch, these are NOTHING like the MAC mineralized eyeshadows.

Stila is the first company (that I know of) to create a a “water marblesque” eyeshadow where you can actually pick up each of the individual colors. Upon first glance at Indie you see that there are three main colors that stand out in the eyeshadow pan. You can choose to wear each color individually or you can mix and match to create custom colors. According to the Stila website no two countless color pigments are alike meaning that once you purchase this lovely item you are now the proud owner of a one of a kind piece of art.

I included swatches below of each of the main colors from the palette. Notice that there are different finishes also. The lighter color appears to be a pearl while the darker ones have a semi matte finish to them. I purchased this during the Ulta Friends and Family sale and was able to get 20% off. Each individual eyeshadow is 1oz and retails for $22 a piece. These are about the size of the larger MAC individual eyeshadows. They also offer more product. There are 10 amazing shades to choose from. I was bummed that my Ulta only had like 3 lef,t but I plan on stopping by the Stila booth during The Makeup Show New York and pick up the following colors :Groupie, Acoustic, Melody (of course) and Light Show.

Maybelline ColorSensational High Shine Lip Gloss in Coral Heat

Today I have for you the new summer Limited Edition Color Sensational High Shine Lip gloss in Coral Heat. Coral is a great color for spring and summer. It can be bright and inviting or cool and mellow. I would describe Coral Heat as a cool toned lip gloss that leans more to the orange side.

Coral Heat is Semi pigmented and if you have lips that are pigmented it will give your lips a slight stain over a true color.

I decided to pair it with Shocking Coral from the Maybelline Vivids collection and the color pay off was more a Coral Pink then a Orange Coral.

I picked up Coral Rush from Rite Aid during their Maybelline BOGO. It usually retails for $7.49 full price.

Milani Liquid and LiquidLike Eye Liner Pencils

Milani Liquid Like Eye Liner Pencils are quite unique. They’re actually a pencil that has extreme smoothness an goes on almost liquid like. These pencils are great if you want to smudge out the edges and create a smokey eye. The pencils come in five different shades; Graphite, Black, Perfect Purple Brown and Aqua (not shown). Each pencil retails for $6.99

These colors are waterproof and have great wearability, if you have oily eyelids they will start to smear after about 8 hours of wear.

I’m also sharing the Milani Bold Tech Eyeliner ($7.99) with you also. This is one fat eyeliner! The tip is thick with a pointed end so it makes transitioning from a thin to thick line pretty easy. It almost reminds me of a velvet tipped marker. I do find that it doesn’t give you a really dark line and you would probably need to line you eyes a couple of times if you want to get the a true black line. This would work great if you paired it with the Liquid Like Eye Liner Pencils. Use the pencils to create at thin line then make a thicker tail with the Bold Tech Liner.

Aqualillies for Tarte Glamazon 12 Hour Lipstick in Timeless Review

Aqualillies is the newest collection from TARTE Cosmetics. Inspired by the Americas most glamorous synchronized swimming group the “Aqualillies” this collection is full of bold and neutral colors that pair well together but still stand out with their own individuality.

Timeless is the Limited Edition Glamazon 12 Hour Pure Performance Lipstick of the collection. This color is not for the faint of heart. It is a bold and vibrant coral with blue undertones that really make the color stand out.

Packaging: Timeless comes in the normal TARTE Glamazon Lipstick packaging except this time at the bottom it actually says “Aqualillies for TARTE”

Price: Although this is a LE item the price point is still $26 which is the normal selling price of the Glamazon Lipsticks.

Wearability: The Glamzon Pure Performance 12 hour lipsticks go on nice and smooth and are very very very long lasting. I had no problems with this color bleeding. You may have to touch up just a smidge toward the end of the day (8 hours), but they do live up to their name. The Mango, Avocado and Shea that are enriched in the lipstick work great at helping to keep your lips moisturized and prevent them from drying out or looking chapped.

This color looked absolutely gorgeous on my lips. My husband even noticed and told me how nice it looked. Coral really compliments my skin tones and what I love about this lipstick is that it’s not that bright in your face coral. It’s more of a toned down coral that still keeps it vibrancy about it. I hope that makes sense lol. I do feel this color would look absolutely amazing on anyone. Timeless is a LE color from the Aqualillies Collection. I picked mine up a ULTA and used my 20% off coupon. I definitely wouldn’t miss out on this fabulous color if I were you!

Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lip Gloss “Rose Lust” x Limited Edition

Maybelline was BOGO this week at CVS, Rite Aid and WalGreens so I picked up a few shades of the Color Sensational High Shine Lip gloss. Each Lip gloss cost $7.49 and there are six shades in this limited edition collection.

Maybelline describes the Color Sensational High Shine Lip gloss as:

· Wax-free gloss delivers pure color for saturated look with a creamier feel and the ultimate shine

· Contains honey nectar to nourish lips

Packaging: A rectangular slender tube with a silver cap. That’s basically it. The packaging was pretty minimal. I would have loved to see the Maybelline Logo or maybe some type of design. However, this type of packaging is beneficial because you can actually see the color and not have to peer past any semi translucent labels.

Rose Lust is a deep pinkish red that is very well pigmented. The high shine description is right on point. My lips were very shiny and also moisturized. Honestly they were almost a bit too shiny. Of course this is nothing a little blotting wont fix. This lip gloss would look great over Vivid Rose from the Color Sensational Vivids Collection.
