Well season fans the reports are in and Old Man Winter and Jack Frost have teamed up this year for an intense game of cold, dry biting air.  If you’re like me this can be the most dreaded season, especially if you’re constantly washing your hands due to your profession or home life.  Working in a Microbiology Lab and being a big germaphobe, I always find myself reaching for my L’Occitane Shea Butter hand cream after I wash my hands. My feet are funny, I usually have trouble wearing heels and boots due to my baby toe being pinched and my extra large calves. If that wasn’t enough genetics decided to bless with me a bunion. Yes, A bunion on one foot, my right foot to be exact. I spent years building a wonderful winter shoe collection only to find that I now can only sit and stare and wish all those at the consignment shops happy shopping.

Yesterday while running to the mall just to return some pants (at least that’s what I told my husband). I decided to stop by JcPenny and pick up a couple of turtlenecks. While heading out I couldn’t help but stop at the shoe department in JcPenny, I mean why not? There was an amazing sale going on and tons of fabulous shoe finds. I have not been to JcPenney’s in a while and I’ll be honest I never thought of their shoe department as the “hip” place to shop. I decided upon some oxford style shoes along with some calf length combat boots. The Oxford style shoes ran big, and when I found out that out my right foot sang out a praise! Finally I could wear a stylish shoe without the pain pounding in one foot. I tried these on with dress socks and I felt as if I was floating. The combat boots were tried on with a thicker sock and they were also very comfy, when I find comfy shoes that both my feet can agree on I snag them up fast!

These stylish selections are usually seen worn by men in the office, but I can’t wait to pair these with my tights and sweater dresses.
